Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions About Health Insurance & Medicare

Q: What’s the difference between Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement?
A: Medicare Advantage (Part C) replaces Original Medicare with an all-in-one plan, often including prescription, dental, and vision coverage. Medicare Supplement (Medigap) works with Original Medicare to cover what Medicare doesn’t—like copays and deductibles.

Q: When can I enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan?
A: The Annual Enrollment Period runs from October 15 – December 7 each year. You may also qualify for a Special Enrollment Period based on life changes (moving, losing coverage, turning 65, etc.).

Q: How do you get paid?
A: Our services are completely free to you. We’re compensated directly by insurance carriers—so you pay nothing extra.

Q: Can you help with non-Medicare plans?
A: Yes! We also help individuals, families, and small businesses find Marketplace or private health insurance options.
